Synergy Youth Clinic
Coach Gene is ready to get the clinic started for Girls grade 5 thru 8. It starts Sunday September 7th, 2008 and players will be divided into groups base on individual playing experience. A format similar to last year will be followed:
Clinic Times:
Sunday
- 2:00 to 3:15 PM for Level 1
- 3:15 to 4:30 PM for Level 2
- 4:30 to 5:45 PM for Level 3
Friday
- 5:30 to 6:45 PM for Level 1
- 6:45 to 8:00 PM for Level 2
- 8:00 to 9:15 PM for Level 3
Level 1: Less then 2 yrs Club or Playing Experience. Level 2: 2 yrs Club or Playing Experience. Level 3: More then 2 yrs Club Experience

SCVA:
SMBC Synergy participates in the Southern California Volleyball Association program for high school aged boys and girls. Our coaches have had several years previous experience at high levels of competition and are dedicated to developing participants in our program. This will be its seventh year of operation in the SCVA program. The Southern California Volleyball Association (SCVA) is a non-profit organization affiliated with the United States Volleyball Association, which is the national sports governing body for amateur volleyball. The primary objective of the SCVA is to furnish an opportunity for volleyball players to participate in an organized schedule of tournament play. The participants involved in SCVA usually have had previous experience with volleyball at a club, high school, or collegiate level. Different divisions within each program allow the program director to equalize the draw, allowing teams of equal strength to compete against one another.
